TRUST & SAFETY CENTER

Trust is our product. Here is the machinery.

Egypt's problem was never its wonders; it was that visiting them required trusting strangers with no way to check. EgyRoam exists to make the checking real: licences verified in person, prices in writing, money held until delivery, and evidence you can open before you pay. This page is the whole system, plainly.

How a person gets onto our roster

  • Government smart-licence checked in person and photographed for our records; drivers and captains verified by identity, vehicle or vessel, and river/road record.
  • Two references contacted and recorded.
  • A paid test assignment, bought by us anonymously where possible, before any client contact.
  • A signed fair fixed rate-card, reviewed quarterly, never squeezed mid-season.
  • A public verification page at egyroam.com/verify showing exactly what we checked and when.

How they stay on it

  • Every trip logged; every incident recorded against the operator involved.
  • A serious failure (no-show, bait-and-switch, pressure-selling) is a strike with a payout review; two strikes and they are off the roster.
  • Standing is honest in public: a page reflects reality, or the page comes down.

How your money is protected

  • Nothing is charged until you have seen your exact all-in quote.
  • Deposits by card on secure hosted payment pages; we never see or store card numbers.
  • Operators are paid after delivering the service, not before, which is why our operators show up.
  • If we or an operator fail you, the component is replaced same-day where possible or refunded within 72 hours, your choice, in writing.

While you are in Egypt

  • A 24/7 WhatsApp line runs every day of your trip; first response within minutes.
  • Every morning of a booked day is confirmed to you: who, where, when, which vehicle.
  • For anything threatening a day, a human decision-maker is on it within 30 minutes.
  • Local emergency numbers and our escalation protocol travel with your vouchers.

Check anyone we send you

Every operator carries a cartouche card. Scan it, or type the code at egyroam.com/verify, and see the record. A code that does not resolve is itself a warning, and we want to hear about it.

Honesty note: EgyRoam launched in 2026 and our first public roster is completing vetting now. Verification pages publish as each check is finished; reviews publish unedited as our first travellers return. We would rather show you the machinery early than pretend to a history we have not earned yet.
