EgyRoam experiences are led by a small roster of licensed Egyptologists, captains and drivers we have met, tested and signed personally. Our founding Cairo roster is completing vetting now; profiles publish here as each verification is finished, with photo, languages, licence record and their trips. No stock faces, no invented bios, which is why this page is honest before it is long.
Licence, in person
Government smart-licence checked face to face and recorded; drivers and captains verified by identity, vehicle or vessel, and record.
References + a paid test
Two references contacted, then a test assignment we pay for, anonymously where possible, before any client contact.
The fair-rate signature
A fixed fair rate-card, signed both ways: they are never squeezed, you are never gouged.

Are you a licensed guide, captain or driver in Cairo?
We pay fair fixed rates the next business day, send you clients who already trust you, and never take a commission on your tips. Vetting is strict because that is the product. Write to trips@egyroam.com with your licence number.
